How to Measure Your Dog’s Neck for a Collar

Getting the right fit is simple- all you need is a soft measuring tape (or a piece of string and a ruler).

Measure around your dog’s neck where the collar naturally sits. The tape should be snug but not tight — you should be able to fit two fingers comfortably between the tape and your dog’s neck.

Note the measurement in centimetres or inches.

Use the guide below to find the best size for your dog. If your dog is between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for comfort and adjustability.

Tip:
For puppies or dogs with thicker coats, allow a little extra room for growth or coat changes.
